It’s true a lot of retail stores play deep into our psyche’s in advertisements throughout our lives. It’s the study of understanding how to trigger the right audience with the right product. Urban Outfitters thinks you look better in their boyfriend jeans because they’re this and that, and Forever XXI thinks you should get their jeans because of this reason and that reason. The examples are endless, but it is what it is.
However, most of us really don’t realize how far these stores marketing teams will go to prove it to their audiences that they look better in their clothes, specifically. It goes a little further than playing the commercial at the right time, or having a sale every two weeks to catch your impulsive shopping. Some stores nowadays even incorporate ways to make you look better inside their fitting rooms, so that you will buy the clothes at the end.
